Johnsonville | Big Taste Grill & SEC Football Partnership

During 2017, Audrey was the Social Media Account Manager for Johnsonville on behalf of an agency located in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

During her tenure working with Johnsonville, Audrey served as both a project and account manager as well as a social media expert within both internal and client facing teams.  Additional responsibilities included management of a team of social media community managers and Johnsonville brand ambassadors who generated and posted content on behalf of Johnsonville for each week of the Big Taste Grill tour as well as the SEC Football Season.  Audrey also oversaw project deliverables from creative resources and social media analyst.

Big Taste Grill Tour

The Big Taste Grill travels around the country making stops at various special events and retail locations from March through August and grills up Johnsonville sausages while raising money for local charities.  At each stop, Johnsonville partners with a different non-for-profit organization which comes out to work on the grill with Johnsonville brand ambassadors and raises money for their organization from all products sold on the grill that day.

In 2017, there were new brand ambassadors on the grill and Audrey worked with her social media and account teams to come up with training documents and provide a training seminar for the individuals traveling with the grill.  This training program included basic social media best practices, tips and tricks for generating great content, and processes for how to provide the social media community management team for the week with the posts from the event.

Audrey also traveled to a couple of the tour stops to check-in with the brand ambassadors and assist with content capture and posting throughout the event.

2017 marked the 23rd year of the Big Taste Grill rolling around the USA.

Johnsonville SEC Football Partnership

In addition the Big Taste Grill program, Johnsonville also has a partnership with the SEC where Johnsonville would activate on one college campus each week throughout the SEC Football Season.

Audrey was responsible for creating a social media strategy that would generate buzz and excitement for the 2017 SEC Football Season and its ties to Johnsonville.  Audrey and her team created the SEC Tailgate Playbook which included a Johnsonville recipe associated to each university within the SEC conference.  These recipes were made into one downloadable recipe book as well as shared out each week throughout the season on social media.

Each week, there were t-shirt giveaway as surprise and delight winners which Audrey coordinated.  From creating prize packages, selecting sweepstakes and surprise and delight winners, and working to fulfill prizes for these lucky individuals, Audrey wore many hats in her work with Johnsonville.
